The training and development of men’s lacrosse officials in Maryland is the highest priority for the SLOA. Training classes for applicants (new officials) and member meetings for returning officials occurs before and during the spring season.
The SLOA’s most experienced officials instruct on all facets of the game including the areas of emphasis noted in both the NCAA and NFHS rulebooks. With focused training every year, the SLOA is committed to providing the best-trained and competent officials to each league that contracts with us.
