2023 Pre-season Information

In order to officiate NCAA games in the 2023 season, SLOA members must pass the NCAA Rules Test with a score of 80% or better by March 18, 2023. Please note that you cannot save your progress while completing the test. You can download a .pdf version of the test to review the questions before taking the test. If you have already taken the NCAA test as a NILOA official, you do not need to take the test again.

Officials must also complete the virtual MPSSAA Rules Clinic Course before the start of the spring season. After completion of the course, save the clinic verification certificate. Log into your DragonFly account and upload your clinic course certificate.

In order to officiate NFHS games in the 2023 season, SLOA members must log into their account on DragonFly and complete the NFHS Spring Rules Exam by March 18, 2023. Each official will have five attempts to achieve a passing score of 75% or better. A score of 85% or better is required to be eligible for a post-season state tournament semi-final and championship games.
